Conspiracy Case Trial Starts | Kangs Solicitors

Share

The trial in relation to ‘Operation Analogue’ commenced this week at Mold Crown Court.

We were instructed to represent a client who, together with 7 others, faces an allegation of conspiracy to commit burglaries.

The Prosecution allege our client was part of an organised gang who carried out numerous burglaries last year, 2015 in Chester, the Welsh Border region, the Wirral and the Midlands.

The Prosecution state that the gang’s methods were carefully planned and sophisticated, using stolen cars bearing false number plates.

The organised gang attempted to cover their tracks by thwarting attempts to recover forensic evidence from the scenes of their crimes.

The operation was conducted over a period of more than 12 months, resulting in the seizure of a vast amount of stolen property, with a number of arrests being made.

The Prosecution has served a vast amount of evidence in the case.

The Crown will be seeking to rely upon observations, cell site, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and telecommunications evidence to establish that a conspiracy existed between the members of the organised gang.
