Kangs secure acquittal for man charged with Serious Assault

 We represented the Defendant who was on trial at Birmingham Crown Court for allegedly assaulting his ex-partner who the Prosecution said had been stabbed by the Defendant with a pair of scissors. The Defendant was initially charged with a section 47 assault but this was increased to a section 20 on the day of trial.

Following a three day trial, the Defendant was unanimously acquitted.

The case was conducted by Steven Micklewright. Following the conclusion of the Trial the client commented

"I am extremely happy with the result and that this has ended what has been 6 months of hell".
