Whilst driving his motor vehicle, our client was apprehended by Police Officers and a search of the vehicle revealed the presence of a substantial amount of cash.
An extensive search was also conducted at our client’s home address which produced further cash together with paraphernalia indicating criminal activity over an extensive period of time.

Having discussed the matter at length with our client, and the evidence available to the Prosecution, he appreciated that he had no alternative other than to enter a guilty plea in order that the best outcome could be achieved for him.
Following detailed and successful negotiations with the Prosecution, a written Basis of Plea was submitted explaining the limited involvement of our client.

As the result of negotiations conducted on behalf of our client and the contents of the Basis of Plea prepared on his behalf, our client was sentenced:
- to a suspended prison sentence, thereby enabling him to retain his liberty
- to an unpaid work requirement and
- he was required to pay towards some of the Prosecution costs.
Our client was delighted with the outcome which enabled him to continue with his employment and provide for his family.
