Hamraj Kang Wins National Award | Criminal Solicitor of the Year | Legal 500
Further to the article ‘Hamraj Kang Shortlisted For Individual National Award | Legal 500’ posted on 5th December 2019, we are delighted to announce that the firm’s Senior Partner Hamraj Kang has won the prestigious title of Legal 500 ‘Criminal, Fraud & Licensing Solicitor of the Year 2020’ in the national category.
The Legal 500 award is judged on a national basis and Hamraj was one of seven solicitors shortlisted for the award in the national category.
Winning the award is a huge achievement for Hamraj, who founded the firm over 22 years ago, and it compliments Kangs Solicitors winning the Legal 500 award for ‘Crime, Fraud and Licensing Law Firm of the Year 2019.’
The individual award will be presented to Hamraj at the annual Legal 500 Awards Event in central London later this year.
Both the above awards are tremendous achievements for Hamraj personally and for the firm collectively.

Hamraj also achieved the unprecedented feat of being named as a ‘Star Individual’ by Chambers & Partners for a fifth consecutive year for his considerable work in white collar fraud and financial crime.
He is one of only two solicitors nationally to have been awarded ‘Star Individual’ status for an unprecedented fifth consecutive year (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020).
