Share

Kangs Solicitors have been instructed to represent a client who alleges that the police exceeded the powers of the warrant enabling them to enter her home and have acted inappropriately.

The procedure for lodging such complaints has been set out previously and can be accessed here.

Cagin Husnu of Kangs Solicitors explains the circumstances.

The Circumstances | Kangs Abuse of Process Solicitors

Police, whilst executing a warrant, entered property and seized a dog alleged to have been involved in an incident with another dog.

In so doing, it is alleged that the actions of the Metropolitan Police exceeded their authority.

In support of the representations to the Professional Standards Board, witness statements have been taken, photographic evidence has been collated and a detailed statement from the victim has been prepared.

The investigation into the disputed conduct is currently underway.
