Kangs Solicitors represented a client charged with a Conspiracy to commit Murder in relation to events that took place on the 10th May 2013 . Our client was one of three defendants charged in the case which was brought by the Murder Investigation Team based in the West Midlands. The Prosecution alleged that our client and others had recruited another to enter a Public House in Birmingham to carry out an assassination / revenge shooting buygenericvaltrexonline.com with a firearm after the client himself was a victim of a ferocious machete and knife attack earlier on in the morning. The gunman was eventually arrested after having fled the Jurisdiction in May 2013. The gunman was eventually tried and convicted in December 2013 and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum tariff of 31 years.
The Prosecution sought to rely upon hearsay and expert evidence which was robustly challenged during the proceedings and subsequently excluded. At the close of the Prosecution case, a successful submission of no case to answer was made. The Jury was directed to enter a Not Guilty verdict on 14th July 2014.
